Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction Feb 2, 2005
Patient with biliary-type pain and increased values of cholestatic enzymes (alkaline phosphatase and gamma glutamyl transpeptidase). Linear EUS demonstrated a dilated bile duct, with progressive narrowing in the terminal (intrapancreatic part), without stones or sludge. Vascular structures (hepatic artery and portal vein) were clearly delineated by color Doppler EUS.
