Gastric N3 adenocarcinoma |
Jan 23, 2005 |
|
Patient with a large tumor on the lesser curve and posterior face, immediately above the gastric angle, confirmed on biopsies as a high-differentiated adenocarcinoma. Linear EUS allowed visualisation of multiple (more than 15) round-oval lymphnodes (N3). The appearance of lymphnodes, as large (up to 30 mm), hypoechoic, homogenous masses, with absent vascular signals on power Doppler, was suggestive for malignancy. |
