Intraductal papilary mucinous tumors

Benign intraductal papilary mucinous tumor Feb 5, 2005
Young patient (29 years-old) with a recent episode of acute pancreatitis. MRCP showed 3 cysts (blue arrows) of the pancreatic body; two continuos with a retrograde dilated main pancreatic duct (red arrowheads). EUS visualized the cysts, with hypoechoic material inside the dilated pancreatic ducts (blue arrow), while EUS-FNA of the cysts was negative for atypical cells.
