Acute retrogastric collection Feb 7, 2005
Acute retrogastric fluid collection visualized on CT, seven days after the initial presentation with acute biliary pancreatitis. The anechoic fluid collection was clearly visible by EUS from the gastric body, and EUS-guided FNA was subsequently performed.

Acute periduodenal collection Jan 24, 2005
Patient with acute pancreatitis with a periduodenal fluid collection ten days after the initial presentation. The fluid had a hypoechoic appearance with hyperechoic bands, suggestive of infection or detritus. Collection was visible by EUS from the second duodenum; EUS-guided FNA was subsequently performed, with positive cultures; the patient subsequently underwent surgical drainage.
