Superior mesenteric vein

Normal spleno-mesenteric confluent Feb 9, 2005
Normal spleno-mesenteric confluent visualized posterior of the pancreatic body. Ventral pancreas was slightly hypoechoic in this patient, while the Wirsung duct was clearly visible at the level of the pancreatic body, anterior of the splenic vein.

Normal superior mesenteric vein visualized from the duodenum, delimited in the pancreatic groove formed by the uncinate process.
