Pancreas (body + tail)

Normal pancreatic body Feb 11, 2005
Normal pancreatic body and head, with a fine granular appearance in grey scale. Splenic vessels (artery and vein) were visualized in power Doppler posterior of the pancreatic body. Terminal part of the common bile duct is also visible at the level of the pancreatic head. The normal Wirsung (blue arrow) is clearly visible. Fine vascular signals inside the pancreas were also identified in power Doppler.

Normal pancreatic body Feb 9, 2005
Normal pancreatic body visualized from the antrum, with a fine granular appearance, anterior to the splenic vein and artery. The normal Wirsung was easily identified in the center of the pancreatic body (blue arrow).
