Pseudotumoral chronic pancreatitis Feb 24, 2009
Pseudotumoral pancreatic head mass visualized by EUS as a hypervascular mass with power Doppler signals inside, before, but especially after contrast-enhancement (Sonovue 2.4 mL). EUS-guided FNA showed only benign canalicular cells. Long-term follow-up of more than 12 months confirmed the benign nature and absence of malignancy.

Serous cystadenoma Feb 11, 2009
A 71-years-old male patient, diagnosed by CT and abdominal ultrasonography with a pancreatic multicystic mass. Contrast-enhanced EUS revealed increased power Doppler signals inside the multicystic mass, suggestive of a hypervascular tumour. Pulsed Doppler showed both arterial and venous signals, indicating a possible benign etiology.
