Adrenal tumors

Left adrenal metastasis Feb 19, 2009
Patient with known lung carcinoma, with a 2.5 cm mass at the level of the left adrenal, visualized as inhomogenous hard (blue-green) during EUS elastography. The diagnosis of left adrenal gland metastasis was confirmed by EUS-guided FNA.

Left adrenal metastasis Sep 10, 2005
Patient with biopsy-proven non small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) staged by EUS. A 3 cm in-homogenous mass, with hypo- and hyper-echoic regions, was visualized by EUS at the level of the left adrenal. EUS-guided elastography depicted the adrenal mass as a hard tumor. Diagnosis of left adrenal metastasis was confirmed by EUS-FNA (provided by Prof. Dr. Peter Vilmann, Dr. Adrian Saftoiu.
