Mediastinal pleural fluid visualized from the lower esophagus. Normal esophageal wall with the normal three-layered structure, visualized with the water filled ballon in contrast with the fluid in the mediastinal pleura. EUS-guided FNA of the fluid allowed sampling for biochemistry, cytology, cultures, etc.
