Gallbladder sludge

Sludge and small gallblader stones Feb 10, 2009
Patient with a dilated gallbladder, sludge and multiple small stones producing comet tail artifacts. The extrahepatic cholestasis and obstruction o the bile duct flow was determined by a pancreatic head tumor compressing and invading the common bile duct.
 

Gallbladder sludge Jan 27, 2005
Patient with extrahepatic cholestasis due to the obstruction of the terminal common bile duct determined by a pancreatic head tumor mass. Dilatation of the common bile duct and of the intrahepatic bile ducts were also evident on EUS.
