Peripapillary carcinoma

Duodenal carcinoma Feb 5, 2005
Ulcerated duodenal tumor with invasion of the major papilla and cholestatic jaundice. Duodenal wall was thickened (10 mm) with hypoechoic transmural tumor infiltration and disasapearance of normal EUS layers (arrows) (T3). The CBD was dilated (15 mm), being visualized anterior to the portal vein. Endoscopic biopsies from the circumferential tumor confirmed the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma.

Gastric stump carcinoma Feb 5, 2005
Gastric stump carcinoma with invasion of the major papilla and cholestatic jaundice. Gastric wall was thickened (15 mm) with hypoechoic transmural tumor infiltration and disasapearance of normal EUS layers (arrows). Pancreatic body (P) was also invaded by the gastric tumor (T4). Endoscopic biopsies confirmed the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma.
